Krowd Magazine: Planner Feature

If you’re dreaming of a getaway to London, BASH 2016 has you covered with this year’s theme, London Calls.

Ottawa’s fashionistas are gearing up for the party of the year that will be hosted at the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park on June 10th.

Here in Ottawa, we know how brutal winters can be and keeping warm is an expensive task. BASH is an annual 19+ party thrown in support of the Snowsuit Fund, a charity that raises awareness and money for low-income families in need of outer-wear. Last year the group distributed 16,000 snowsuits in the Ottawa/Gatineau area alone.

BASH is a unique charitable event in Ottawa because the Snowsuit Fund’s planning committee is keen to engage a younger audience in order to introduce them to this important charity.

Organizers promise the fourth installment of BASH has been elevated to ensure guests are wowed from the moment they walk in, until the moment they leave.

Minor details in respect to the entertainment, decor and overall layout have been tweaked to provide guests with a unique experience more common in Toronto or Montreal

From James Bond, old school British mod, Austin Powers or the royal family, guests are being encouraged to step outside their comfort zone and have fun with the theme.

“It’s okay if you want to come in a cocktail dress,” says event planner Tami Varma.

“But because we have a fun theme it gives people an opportunity to go beyond that and do something different.”

Don’t miss this rare chance to raise money and the roof!
