About Tami Varma

Tami has worked in both event management and hospitality for over 13 years. Her experiences as an industry General Manager and premiere event planner, developing a strong portfolio and reputation within the city, and establishing key industry contacts, eventually led her into overseeing 15 different concept locations as a full time private event and business consultant. To further her career passion in event management, Tami finally launched Tami Varma Events. Tami excels in all aspects of food and beverage service, room design, staffing, flow of space, decor, branding, and problem solving. She has demonstrated competency in effectively assessing risk management, and forecasting profit and loss. The most important learned item that she lives by is knowing that the success of any great function is the positively memorable experience that was created for her guests. Her resume and outlook have all lent themselves to her proven track-record in delivering large-scale, marquis events within the Nation’s Capital.
